Coming Home is a series about the search for a home—not necessarily a place, but a feeling.
A small town at a top of a hill recurs throughout the works. It is distant yet familiar, like a place one remembers rather than sees. Around it, figures move through the landscape—running, falling, dancing, carrying, searching.
Drawing inspiration from Mallorca—its landscape and ancient imagery—the works explore the borderland between memory and imagination. The figures are reduced to simple movements, almost like traces of people who passed through the same landscape long before us.
Perhaps it is not about finding a place that has been waiting for us.
Perhaps it is about finding that place within ourselves where we finally feel we belong.
